Our popular hybrid Permaculture Design Course offers a unique blend of online learning and hands-on training at OAEC in western Sonoma County California.
Online Learning: Thursdays, October 3, 10, 17 & 24 (6-8 pm)
Get grounded in permaculture principles through our online course with videos, readings, and interactive discussions. Flexible, self-paced learning with weekly online sessions will connect you with fellow students and deepen your understanding of earth systems, environmental justice, and permaculture principles.
In-Person Training: November 7 – 16, 2024
Put theory into practice! Spend 10 immersive days at OAEC, honing your skills in conservation hydrology, soil health, earthworks, food forests, and more. Work on a real-world design project with a community focus and contribute to lasting change.
Organic, vegetarian meals and shared housing/accommodations are provided.
