We’re offering Permaculture Design Courses and a new Food Forests Course at OAEC in 2025!
Permaculture Design Certification (PDC) courses will immerse you in information, ideas, and inspiration on how to design sustainable, regenerative systems that are rooted in justice and in balance with your home ecosystem. These courses include 2 online sessions + 9 days of residential hands-on skills + design training at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center in Sonoma County, CA.
And our new Food Forests course explores the world of regenerative agroforestry, offering a rich blend of historical context, design principles, and practical implementation strategies. Over 5 days of hands-on learning in August , students will gain the expertise needed to design, establish, and maintain thriving food forests across diverse climates and contexts.
