The Nursery is Open!
We’re excited to announce that the OAEC Nursery is back! After taking the 2025 season off to reimagine our vision for the program and do some much-needed tending of our infrastructure, we reopened the doors to our plant-loving community. The nursery continues to be a wild celebration of biodiversity – uplifting ecologically and culturally important plants, focusing on perennial food, medicinal, and native varieties, and offering a well-curated and ever-evolving selection of annual food crops — all tested in our on-site gardens and appropriate for our bioregion. As always, we provide our community with the highest-quality organically grown, regionally appropriate selections and the guidance needed to select and care for them. And your purchase helps support the larger ecological restoration and social justice efforts of OAEC.
For our reopening in 2026, we made a couple of big changes: we expanded our hours to Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am – 5 pm, and we’re staying open year-round! Stop by for free tours of the gardens on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month at 1 pm.
