In Their Own Words
My work at OAEC:
I keep the people systems – such as payroll, benefits, performance management, and implementation of employment policies – updated and running smoothly so that OAEC staff can stay focused on their areas of work. I am a resource for all staff in navigating OAEC benefits, policies and interpersonal dynamics, I partner with supervisors to ensure their teams are supported and act as a thought partner and coach to leadership in OAEC’s strategic direction.
Why my work matters:
My role is essential in creating a healthy, trusting work environment where staff can thrive personally and professionally. It also ensures we have strong, compliant employment and organizational policies and practices.
How I regenerate:
Doing yoga, reading, cooking, riding bikes, camping, playing with my family and sharing deep, heartfelt conversation. I’m a newly passionate explorer of California hot springs and long time believer in putting my phone away.
