Claire Browe
Assistant Kitchen Manager
Claire was born and raised in Sonoma County by two school teachers. She has always valued learning and collaborating with her peers and has a strong passion for helping others and creating more awareness around mental health. She graduated from Sonoma State University with a degree in Women’s and Gender Studies and Psychology and later went on to study yoga. Her passion for helping others and the culinary arts led her to OAEC. She now works with an amazing and dynamic team, providing wholesome meals to the community and guests inspired by seasonal food grown from the OAEC gardens.

My work at OAEC:
I work as an assistant to the kitchen manager. I act as lead cook and co-manage our kitchen staff.
My background:
I studied Women’s and Gender Studies Psychology at SSU and continued on to study Yoga. I inherited my families’ love and appreciation for beautiful and nourishing food and was taught to cook by my father.

My work matters because, as a team, we provide nourishing and beautiful food to people who are doing the hard work that impacts the world in positive and profound ways.
My passions:
I have a passion for curiosity and helping others. I enjoy getting to know the people and the world that surrounds me. I love creating and sharing art, especially with my son. I am also passionate about taking care of my body by exercising and challenging myself to meet new goals and set a good example for my son.
