8-days - Saturday, July 29 at 10am through the following Sunday, Aug 6 at 12pm. Includes organic, vegetarian meals and shared accomodations.
The in-person portion of the course will have 2 main goals: to practice hands-on permaculture skills and to undertake a design project. We will use the OAEC site to learn some of the practical applications of permaculture such as conservation hydrology, earthworks, food forests, composting, natural building, renewable energy systems and more. Since we at OAEC practice ‘public permaculture’, the permaculture design project during the course will be on the site of a local community organization’s land-based project.
Cost, Discounts and Cancellation Policy $2000 is the base cost for individuals, due at the time of registration. Includes lodging and organic, vegetarian meals during the on-site training.
