Michelle Vesser

MICHELLE VESSER is OAEC’s Assistant Gardener, Production Manager and Garden Internship Coordinater. Michelle returned to work in the OAEC Gardens’ in 2004, where she started gardening in 1986. Michelle concentrates on increasing the amount of vibrant produce available to the Center’s kitchen. Over the years, she has been dedicated to passing on the
knowledge of hand-tilled agriculture through extension and apprenticeship in the U.S., Philippines, Nepal, and Mexico. She has a deep appreciation for the plant world and has continued deepening her knowledge of herbal medicine, healing through foods, and Tai Chi.  Michelle incorporates all these passion in: Healing through Food, Gardening, Herbs, and Ceremony: Remembering Our Way
