At the spring sales we will feature many interesting ornamental perennials, as well as traditional Andean annual and perennial food crops such as yacon, kiwicha, mashua, tamarillo, oca, pepino, quinoa, and cape gooseberry. This is a free event with Garden Tours at 11 am and 1 pm. At our first Spring Plant Sale we'll be selling hundreds of open-pollinated, heirloom and rare varieties – all California Certified Organic – many started from our own seed collection. All have been trialed, tasted, and savored for years in our demonstration gardens and kitchen. This sale features early Spring crops such as lettuces and greens, peas, brassicas, chards, onions, leeks, flowers, and herbs.
