Carol Nieukirk

Carol Nieukirk is a Sowing Circle Community member and the co-manager of OAEC’s organic orchards, food forests and medicinal herb projects. She co-directs OAEC’s Wildlands Biodiversity Program. She is a wildlife biologist and has international research experience with marine mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and land mammals. Carol also has experience in field botany, herbalism and plant surveying. She is currently working on a wildlands management plan for the 70-acre OAEC Wildlands Biodiversity Program.
